RN - OR - Operating Room

We're looking for RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening. The right RN should have 2 years or more of recent experience.

As a Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology!
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

This is a high acuity, fast-paced unit that requires teamwork and strong communication skills. First Time Travelers Accepted. Travelers will be expected to float.

Pay Package

• Paid Weekly
• Weekly Gross $ 2,742.00
• Hourly Rate $ 34.25/hr
• OT Rate $ 51.38/hr
• Weekly Stipend $ 1372.00
• Blended rate $ 68.55/hr
• 13 Week contract
• 40 hrs/week, 4x10 Days (10 hrs)

Position: Day Shift Medical Professional

Schedule: 4x10 Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00

Job Details:

- Indiana State license must be in hand to submit.

- Please provide traveler's interview availability - required to submit.

- No first-time travelers.

- Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years Required.

- Required Specializations: Neuro and Ortho.

- CERNER experience required to submit.

Submittal Details:

- Submittal Level: High

- Travel Compliance: Tier 2

Additional Information:

- Travelers University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.

- Social Security Number (SSN) required at the time of submittal.

- Date of Birth (DOB) required at the time of submittal.

- Requested Time Off (RTO): We can auto-approve 5 days of RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.

- If 1 position is available, we can allow 3 submissions at one time.

- 18 months of experience required; however, please refer to the job description for any exceptions made depending on the unit.

- License: For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have IN or compact license in hand. For start dates 4 weeks out, must have started the IN/compact licensing process to be submitted.

- 2 supervisor references required.

- Candidates under 50 miles will be accepted at the local rate. See Account Manager for details.

- Floating is 100% required of ALL travelers. Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital(s) nearby.

- Certifications required. Please see the job description/unit description to find the list of required certifications depending on the unit.

- No specific charting required

- Background policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval before making an offer.

- Any PERM or PRN employee of IU must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
