RN - ED - Emergency DepartmentWe're looking for RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening. The right RN should have 2 years or more of recent experience.
As a Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology!
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

This is a high acuity, fast-paced unit that requires teamwork and strong communication skills. First Time Travelers Accepted. Travelers will be expected to float.
Pay Package

• Paid Weekly
• Weekly Gross $ 2,254.00
• Hourly Rate $ 22.75/hr
• OT Rate $ 34.13/hr
• Weekly Stipend $ 1435.00
• Blended rate $ 62.61/hr
• 13 Week contract
• 36 hrs/week, 3x12 Nights-hour shifts per week

Job DescriptionPosition: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: 3x12s Evenings - Starting at 11AM OR 1PM, weekend and float requirements
Duration: 13 weeks
Unit: Emergency Department
Float Requirement: Yes; All Swedish travelers are required first to float. This can include multi-campus float when applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHANIHSSWA certifications.
- Active RN licensure.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
