• High School diploma or equivalent 
• One year experience in LTC/SNF preferred
• Dietary Certification must be completed within 6 months of hire

• Ensure high level sanitary conditions in both the kitchen and dining premises.
• Must be able to follow instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards.
• Must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.
• Set up tables and other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of the dietary manager and/or cook.
• Take down dining areas and collect place settings and glassware.
• Discard leftover food and take out the garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
