Electric Motor Technician Job Description:
Quality Armature Works, located in Baton Rouge, LA, is a division of Quality Compressed Air Services. Quality Armature Works focuses on electric motor and pump repairs for the industrial, petrochemical, manufacturing, marine, medical, municipal, and mining industries.
Job Overview:
This is a full-time position for a responsible individual with experience rebuilding and rewinding electric motors .
Duties: Specific functions include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and complete repair of electric motors
- Building and maintaining relationships with current customers
- Proper completion of all required service forms
- Determining additional customer needs and advising on completed service forms
- Following directions, Quality Control and Operating procedures
- Completing all services safely
- Completing various services and repairs in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements:
- 3 years electric motor rewinding experience
- Ability to learn technical subjects
- Electrical and Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow directions
- Good communication skills
- Provide own hand tools
- Maturity and self-reliance
- Good organization skills
- Physically fit: able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Very good driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
