Position : Shipping and Receiving Associate

QAD is searching for a highly organized and determined individual to lead our shipping department. Do you have proven experience preparing shipments in a small business environment, and excellent time management and prioritization skills?

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Picks and packs products with attention to detail and care
• Communicates with Inside Sales Team and Production Department to ship out product efficiently
• Uses shipping system to create labels for domestic and international shipments and returns
• Receives and inventories incoming parts and raw materials
• Uses critical thinking to troubleshoot shipping / receiving and inventory challenges
• Performs all shipping, receiving, and packing activities with urgency and intentionality
• Loads outgoing shipments with care
• Obtains shipping quotes as needed
• Learns and applies all policies and procedures of dealers / distributors
• Reviews and prioritizes outgoing orders.
• Pursues a detailed knowledge of shipping systems and label creation
• Prioritizes safety in shipping department

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead team members
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Flexibility to work extended hours complete projects as needed
