Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in early childhood education and working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students with their learning and development
- Supervise students during classroom activities and outdoor playtime
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and preparing materials for lessons
Skills:
- Previous experience in daycare, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to provide basic first aid when needed
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
This is a full-time position with regular working hours.
