Unracker/Inspector/Packer/Assembler

Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts open

Rate: $15 to $16 depending on shift

Overtime available

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Unracks parts properly as specified in 'Lacks Inspection Manual' and the applicable process sheet.
• Recognizes part defects per critical quality sheets and classifies defective parts either as scrap or rework.
• Recognizes rack problems and contacts supervisor.
• Immediately alerts production coordinator or process manager to any recurring scrap or rack problems and provide recommendations for their resolution.
• Makes required entries on 'Scrap Input Sheet'.
• Places inspected and approved parts in the proper cartons and/or bins per the applicable process sheet.
• Moves partial product to and from inspection/unracking stations.
• Participates in cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assembles parts for the customer.
• Packs and labels product per packaging specifications.
• Maintains good housekeeping in work area.
• Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor.
