STAMPING PRESS OPERATOR – 3RD SHIFT

Job Responsibilities

Operates manual and automated progressive metal stamping presses. Uses fork trucks and other manual moving equipment to load/unload and dispose materials and product. Performs quality checks on products using gages and calipers. Prints labels using ProAlpha ERP System. Keeps assigned area clean and organized. Follows and addresses all safety rules.

Essential Functions

• Perform preventive maintenance on tool and dies.
• Use of various machine and hand tools to modify and or repair tooling.
• Operate Presses.
• Prepare tools for production runs.
• Examine standard or previously used dies and tooling components and recommend design modifications regarding construction and functionality.
• Maintain equipment through cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• In addition, any other duties assigned.
