Job Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: First Shift, Full Time 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $16.00 per Hour
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Integrity and leadership skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Experience in a shipping clerk position
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Preparing outgoing shipment paperwork including packing list and bill of lading
- Coordinate freight carriers for shipment of orders
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics
- Keep files of goods shipped by preparing regular shipping reports
- Handle issues arising in shipping
- Trouble shoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
- Load merchandise by lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts/pallet jacks for large goods
