JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Purchasing Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement Department. The
successful candidate will analyze procurement systems and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in strategic initiatives to help drive cost savings and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, potential cost savings, and areas of
  • improvement in procurement processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and
  • ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Support the negotiation of contracts with suppliers by providing data insights and cost analysis
  • Maintain and update our vendor database, ensuring all information is current and accurate
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Develop and prepare procurement reports for senior management
  • Assist in forecasting to plan future purchasing requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or a related analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and convert them into
  • actionable insights
  • Familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Knowledge of the industrial paint industry is a plus
