perform duties in warehouse operations, to include the receipt, maintenance, distribution, record maintenance, and inventory control of furniture/supplies/materials stocked in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Acts in a professional, respectful, and welcoming manner at all times.
- Creates a customer-focused climate and provides quality services
- Maintains inventory of warehoused materials; organizes stock to facilitate identification and location of stock items; places stock items into assigned area; maintains proper storage of parts, supplies, tools, and materials; monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate quantities; initiates requests for new or replacement materials; assists in conducting periodic inventory counts of materials in stock.
- Pulls supply orders from stock; loads vehicles with items to be delivered.
- Follows established procedures for ensuring assigned areas are safe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years of previous experience and/or training involving warehouse operations, inventory control preferred.
- Experience working with a team is preferred.
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively
