Job Duties
Machine Operation-Operate plastic extrusion press machinery according to SOPs and safety guidelines
Setup and Preparation-Set up the extrusion press for production runs, including loading raw materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment of components
Quality Control : Monitor the extrusion process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain consistency.
Troubleshooting : Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the extrusion process, such as equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, or product defects.
Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate production records, including equipment settings, process parameters, and quality control data.
Communication : Coordinate with other team members, such as supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives to enhance overall productivity.
Requirements
Previous manufacturing experience
For 2nd and 3rd shift-able to train on 1st shift for about 2 weeks before moving to permanent shift
