Job Description
Looking to get into the world of plastic extrusion? Qualified Staffing has partnered with a local company that does just that. They are looking for enthusiastic people to join their team.
Job Duties
Machine Operation-Operate plastic extrusion press machinery according to SOPs and safety guidelines
Setup and Preparation-Set up the extrusion press for production runs, including loading raw materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment of components
Quality Control: Monitor the extrusion process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain consistency.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the extrusion process, such as equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, or product defects.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including equipment settings, process parameters, and quality control data.
Communication: Coordinate with other team members, such as supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives to enhance overall productivity.
Requirements
Previous manufacturing experience
For 2nd and 3rd shift-able to train on 1st shift for about 2 weeks before moving to permanent shift
