Forklift Operator
Location : Coopersville MI
Wage : $16-18 depending on experience
Shift : Day and Night shifts available
Will train on morning shift.

Responsibilities :
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places or directly to rack
- storage
- Sign incoming Bill of Lading’s (BOL’s)
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance, including daily forklift check sheets
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices
- Complete any other tasks and duties needed by Management
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines
Competencies
- Be able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code
- Solid reading skills must be able to read orders / match orders on shipping tickets to items picked
- Basic math skills and reasoning skills
- Ability to understand and execute instructions
- General understanding of the warehouse and footprint requirements
- Proven experience as forklift operator for at least 1 year
- Able to move / lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
