General Machine Operator
The General Machine Operator will be responsible for the operation of single/multi-spindle machines to maintain quality products that meet the customer standards.
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Operation machines for production
- Loading and unloading machines
- Adjusting machine offsets as needed
- Performing measurements for quality inspection
- Production reporting
- Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed.
- Running supported machines: sander, saw etc.
Skills Requirements
- Eager to learn. Understand English well enough to effectively communicate safety/operational instruction and work requirements.
- Punctual / Dependable
- Ability to work well with others.
- Good Organizations skills
- Be able to run multiple machines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic ability to read schematics / blueprints - (will train)
- Basic understanding of metric system
- Good math skills
- Basic knowledge of measurement devices
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with buddy system.
- Constand standing, walking, handling, and using fingers.
- Frequent bending, squatting and/or kneeling.
