Our client loves providing excellent dental care, but also investing in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a dental assistant who will be able to jump into the fast moving pace of our office and provide 5 star customer service to our patients. We are committed to our team, our patients, and our community. We are seeking someone with two plus year experience, but we are open to looking at all resumes. Our team values learning and drive, so an assistant who is willing to grow their knowledge and to be a team player is a must. Although, this is a five day a week position there is the option to work six days if preferred, but it is not required.
Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from accredited dental assisting program

(Previous experience at another cosmetically minded practice is a plus)

• X-ray certification ( not required but a plus)
• Nitrous monitoring certification ( not required but a plus)
• Bilingual required

Other Required Duties

• Taking dental x-rays
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Sending and monitoring lab cases
• Following up with patients after treatment and providing relevant instructions
• Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies
• Various office tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager'

Duties:

• Assisting chair-side
• Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
• Using computers to update electronic patient records
• Assisting with lab tasks as needed
• Assisting with front office tasks as needed
