Join Qualdoc's team in Ashland, VA! We need experienced Flux Core Welders to weld heavy industrial steel equipment and components using shop drawings. This role starts as a contract with the potential for full-time based on performance and business needs. Get ready for overtime - 50-56 hours weekly!

Requirements

• Experienced in Flux Core Arc welding.
• Capable of passing Full Penetration Vertical Weld and Fillet Overhead weld tests.
• Familiar with AWS D1.1 welding standards.
• Proficient in reading shop drawings and AWS weld symbols.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have own welding and safety equipment (helmet, gloves, steel toes).

• Monday - Friday with some Saturdays as required
• 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (10 hours a day)

• $850 Sign-on bonus after 6 months on the job
• One year after hire, PTO of 16 days (accrued throughout the year)
