Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor
Pay: $42.00-$46.00/HR

Typical Shifts:
- Full-time- Monday – Friday or every other weekend schedule
- On call 1 week every 8 weeks
- Typical shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm or 11:00pm – 7:30 am

Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse Supervisor:

- Report to the Director of Nursing.

- Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.

- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.

- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.

- Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

- Perform administrative, clinical, educational, quality improvement and compliance duties as required.

Educational/Vocational requirements for a Registered Nurse Supervisor:

1. Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
2. Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
3. Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
4. This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patient and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
5. Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Compony policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site if required.
6. Maintains current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by state.)
