Quail Corners Animal Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician. The purpose of the Veterinary Technician role is to provide exceptional client/patient care and overall support and assistance to the doctors and other hospital team members and is a primary role within our Treatment area. We are seeking team members with veterinary experience, good computer and organizational skills, attention to detail, a sense of humor, upbeat personality, and great customer service skills.

Quail Corners Animal Hospital has been in the community for over 50 years. We are a well-established, full-service, primary care veterinary hospital with seven doctors on staff. Our goal is to deliver an exceptional experience, whether for a wellness exam or an emergency procedure. With a strong focus on client education and the best use of technological advances in veterinary medicine and service, our team at Quail Corners provides consistent, thorough, and most of all, compassionate care to all pets entrusted to us.

Candidates MUST have experience in the following areas:

*Greater than 1 year experience in a high-paced veterinary setting

* Surgical prep, assistance, and anesthesia monitoring

* Radiology and proper positioning techniques

* IV Catheter placement and maintenance

* Blood draws, sample collections, and labwork

* Drug calculations

* Pharmacy Duties

* Proper restraint techniques for both dogs and cats

* Maintaining patient records

* ICU Duties
