MUST HAVES:
2 years of experience working Surgical Scheduler - Prior Authorization Specialist
MUST have experience with Prior authorization
Highly organized and very strong attention to detail is ESSENTIAL
Able to follow directions, then work independently.
Critical thinking, problem solving
Mastery of technology - (computers, spreadsheets, internet)
Clinical knowledge - able to read/understand medical progress notes, prescriptions, treatment plans

Duties:
Maintaining surgical/biopsy logs
Prescription Prior Authorizations and refill requests
Medical Records requests
Managing incoming faxes and email
Sorting/uploading incoming medical documents
