Business and Immigration Law Paralegal
Chevy Chase, MD
MUST:
Experienced Business and Immigration Law Paralegal
2 years of professional experience
2 years of experience as immigration or employment law experience preferred
Bilingual Preferred (Spanish or Korean)
Knowledge of consular review and processing is preferred
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a immigration form documenting system (Cerenade preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Detail oriented with the ability to maintain deadlines
Very strong organizational skills for paper and electronic documents
Ability to work independently, be a team player, and strong individual contributor
Associate Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or bachelors degree in paralegal studies or bachelors degree with a paralegal certificate
DUTIES:
Researching and summarizing relevant federal and agency cases
Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests
Maintaining client public access files
Updating clients of progress, answering their questions or preparing paperwork
