Junior Software Engineer
Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
MUST:
Experienced Junior Software Engineer
Active Secret clearance required
3 years of software engineer experience required
Experience working in C and Python.
Agile development experience utilizing modern software automation tools to develop software to run on Linux/Windows environments.
Familiarity with software testing principles and writing software.
Knowledge of software testing frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
DUTIES:
Support algorithm/waveform/technique development existing primarily in the Radio Frequency (RF) space.
Assist with the design and development of networking techniques and protocols, database management systems, and programming in high order languages (e.g., C , Python).
Leverage knowledge of software design principles to maximize readability and maintainability.
Support the integration of sensor capabilities to include, but not limited to, activities that support hardware/software consolidation and virtualization and cybersecurity compliance.
Assist with turning requirements and specifications into working software.
Work with computer simulation, client-server architectures, networking techniques and protocols, databases (flat-file, relational, and object-oriented), high-order programming languages, and operating systems. *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
