MUST:
Experienced Senior Accountant
4 years of Accounting experience
Must have experience with Deltek Costpoint
Experience as an Accountant with G/L emphasis required
Experience conducting month end close, journal entries, without supervision
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Experience using automated accounting systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
DUTIES:
Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts to ensure correct account classification and accuracy
Process weekly plant payrolls.
Prepare payroll journal entries for period-end closing
Complete the monthly close for assigned entities, to include reporting and analysis
Prepare work papers for year end audit and quarter end reviews
Complete all other duties as assigned by manager
Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions
