Overview

Assist clients with new implementations. The Implementation Specialist must be a highly motivated, energetic individual with the ability to learn quickly and the desire to grow both professionally and personally. This position involved extensive travel and overnight stays (75%). Hybrid role. 

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with managing the medical billing and application customization aspects of a new implementation.
• Work with the managers and billers of a hospital billing department to identify differences with how the Quadax proprietary medical claims processing software (i.e. Xpeditor) edits claims versus the hospital’s current EDI system.
• Customize software and training individuals in large group settings.
• Responsible for secondary billing and remittance overview.
• Assist Account Representatives in handling issues that impact their clients.
• Assist in research and problem solving and suggest a course of action.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher
• 3-5 years’ experience in Healthcare Financial Management or Medical Billing
• Basic knowledge of claim forms and ICD, revenue codes and CPT coding
• Good investigative and software troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to multitask, be a self-starter, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to maintain a professional relationship with multiple clients
• Strong public speaking skills
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
• Proficient with PC/Windows and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to travel extensively and stay overnight (75%)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
