Leidos QTC Health Services is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinic Franklin, WI.

What part would you play in this role?

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine and basic front and back-office duties. These duties will include answering phones, data entry, assisting in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs and recording information on patients’ charts, drawing and collecting blood samples and / or urine samples from patients, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducting a variety of diagnostic tests.

In this rewarding role, you will :

  • Perform routine and basic front and back-office duties, to include phones, data entry.
  • Assist in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician.
  • Interview patients
  • Measures vital signs.
  • Record information on patients' charts
  • Draw and collect blood samples and / or urine samples from patients.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis!
  • Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests.

Pay and Benefits :

Hourly Rates are based on experience and education. Plus potential quarterly bonuses.

  • Level I (- yrs of exp. plus MA diploma) $ - $ per hour
  • Level II (- yrs of exp. plus MA diploma) $ - $ per hour
  • Level III (- yrs of exp. plus MA diploma) $ - $ per hour
  • Level IV ( yrs of exp. plus MA certification) $ - $ per hour
  • Level V ( yrs of exp. plus Associates in Medical Assisting and MA cert) $ - $ per hour

The Leidos QTC Health Services pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Typical Day :

  • Initial training will be Mon Fri : : am : pm for weeks.
  • Position is located ONSITE at our Clinic in Franklin, WI (address : S th St, Franklin, WI )
  • Rotating shifts are Mon- Fri : AM - : PM or : AM - : PM. Ability to work on Saturdays, when needed.

You must have :

  • Graduate from a medical assistant school and / or graduation from an accredited vocational Medical Assistant program, and / or military equivalent.
  • High School Diploma / GED. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of diploma.
  • Medical Assistant certification required for Level and Level MAs, unless candidate has military experience as a Military Medic or Hospital Corpsman.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine clinic, General Medical, Internal Medicine work environment preferred.
  • CPR / BLS certification required within days of starting.
  • Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry.
  • A medical clearance that consists of passing an N respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis / TB test and receive a Hepatitis A / B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A / B Titer test.
  • Exceptional customer service skills that will enhance the interaction with the providers, operational teams and clients
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to demonstrate an understanding of applicable policies and procedures.
  • The ability to maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
