About Job

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel based in the EMEA region to help us manage commercial contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in drafting, developing, negotiating, and reviewing license agreements and commercial contracts. Depending on your experience, areas of interest, and/or foreign language knowledge, you may work in other areas of the legal team and support other regions as well.

You will

• Manage commercial contracting for EMEA teams, including buy-side and sell-side contracts, NDAs, partner agreements, and negotiations
• Provide counsel to internal teams on legal issues pertaining to commercial contracting and develop sustainable compliant processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally on related areas such as supplier documentation review and finance team support
• Assist in drafting, developing, and updating policies and agreements

About you

• Proven experience collaborating with global teams/companies
• Familiarity or keen interest in open-source software licensing
• Ability to grasp technical concepts and address related issues.
• Possession of applicable compliance certifications such as CIPP-E.
• Interest in driving process improvements and leveraging technical solutions.
• 3-8 years of experience, with at least 1.5-2 years in transactional work (sales or vendor side).
• Qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Transactional experience in the software industry and/or at a multinational/international company is highly desirable.
• Additional legal expertise (e.g., employment, compliance, product) is a plus.
• Ability to provide tailored advice and enhance efficiency.
• Demonstrated capability to manage tasks independently and think globally.
• Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is advantageous.
