Position Title : Shipping and Receiving

Wage : $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

Shift : 1st

Hours : 6 : 30am – 4 : 30pm (Monday – Thursday), 6 : 30am – 10 : 30am (Friday)

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities :

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare items for shipment
• Determine the method of consignment by means of knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
• Arrange for carrier vehicle or pickup
• Process shipments in UPS system including printing UPS labels
• Create bill of lading for pallet shipments
• Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types
• Pull merchandise from inventory and prepare for shipment
• Enter shipments into the ERP data system by creating the pack list
• Input shipping information into the EDI portal
• Create advance ship notices
• Receive incoming goods, check for defects and compare the amount and identification numbers of goods against orders
• Authenticate receipt of shipments alongside bills of lading, invoices, or other records
• Document discrepancies
• Use forklift to load and unload deliver trucks
• Utilize other equipment like carts and pallet jacks to move material throughout facility

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with ERPs and customer portals as well as handling ASNs
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to operate forklift
