QPS Employment Group is Hiring a Packaging Near Syracuse, NE
Wage: $16/hour ($17/hour Depending on experience)
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Packager at a great company in Syracuse, NE. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Packaging Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow guidelines to package products using standard procedures and good manufacturing practices
- Operate packaging equipment such as tach-it machines and taping machines
- Palletize finished product and attach labels for shipping
- Complete visual inspection and documentation
- Maintain clean work environment
- Utilize knowledge of storage location and raw materials
- Report any issues to supervisor/lead
Packaging Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and or previous manufacturing experience
- Follow instructions from supervisor (written or verbal)
- Able to understand English and metric measurements
- Work in an individual and team environment
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours or duration of shift
- Able to push/pull loaded pallets up to 50lbs (2 people)
- Bend, twist, and reach repetitively
- Occasionally lift up to 50lbs (team lift)
- Must be able to move hands and fingers repetitively
