QPS Employment Group is Hiring an Assembler Near Durant, IA
Wage: $12.50 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Assembler opportunity available at a company in Durant, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble fan/duct pieces according to product specifications.
- Read prints/follow pictures to correctly assemble pieces.
- Move finished products into correct inventory locations.
- Work as a team to meet production quotas and project deadlines.
- Assemble, tape, pack, and stack boxes on pallets- may need to use box cutter.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Label boxes to reflect appropriate information.
Assembler Requirements:
- Must be able to pinch, grip, and finger product repetitively throughout shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs occasionally throughout shift.
- Must be able to bend and crouch down occasionally throughout shift.
- Must be able to sit for entire shift.
- Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift.
- Production experience preferred.
- Assembly experience preferred.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production demands and needs.
- Function as a team with other personnel in the assigned department.
