Manufacturing Technician - Electronic Control

QPO Energy is searching for a Manufacturing Technician to join its team. The Manufacturing Technician for Electronic Control is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of electronic control systems used in QPO manufacturing. This role involves working with a variety of electronic equipment and systems to ensure the efficient operation of production and the consistent quality of manufactured products. The technician will troubleshoot electronic issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.

Job Duties:

  • Implement the setting of equipment parameters.
  • Edit PLC parameters- Install and configure electronic control systems, including sensors, actuators, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), to support manufacturing operations.
  • Operate robots and edit their parameters.
  • Execute the equipment maintenance plan.
  • Calibrate electronic components and systems to maintain accuracy and reliability. Conduct testing and validation of electronic controls to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Understanding and experience with PLCs and HMIs
  • Familiarity with numerical control machining (CNC) equipment and software

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Experienced in the production of energy storage products is preferred

Special Skills:

  • Computer Skills- Experience in learning new software programs and systems quickly and the ability to instruct others in use.
  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $58,950.00 - $100,385.00 per year
