The Access Control / CCTV Installation Technician is a key contributor in the success of installation and deployment of the systems we design and sell.

We are looking for loyal, personable and gifted technicians to provide excellent installation and support services for our client's.

Most work is in Southern California, at times Travel within California and remote states is possible.

Our company has over 30 years of experience running cable, installing low voltage systems, CCTV Cameras, IP Cameras, Access Control, Wireless Access points, Routers and Network gear in all kinds of commercial applications. We also have in house design teams for both CCTV, Wireless; Backhauls and Network design. 

Our work also leads us into schools where we are required to have Live Scan background checks prior to any on site work. We provide you with the paper work and assistance in getting Live Scans completed. 

Minimum 1-2 years Experience

- Knowledge is Access Control panels, Circuits and some door hardware

- Knowledge in CCTV IP Cabling (on job training for system programing provided) 

- Must have your own handtools (power tools and testing equipment provided)
QualificationsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:

-- Have professional appearance and attitude at all times, while on the job site, and on phone calls.-- Be highly organized-- Have good written and oral communication skills-- Possess an inclination for learning new technologies quickly-- At least 2 years of experience of network cabling installation and diagnosing cabling issues.-- Necessary computer and network skills-- Valid Drivers License-- Able to lift 50lbsWhat type of work you may be expected to do?

--Perform surveys, install video cameras, wireless access points, etc.

-- Be able to work alone unattended and with others.
--Troubleshoot/Install various network/IP Camera systems.--Coax/Cat6/Cat5e/ Cat3 cable installations in retail/ commercial space. (Drop Ceiling, internal wall, external wall, wire tray, conduit)--Network equipment installation (Router, Switch, Hub, Dial Back up Modem, DSL Modem, Network Management Device, Wireless Access Points, etc.)--Perform site survey per job scope.--CCTV Technician - must be able to troubleshoot cameras and cabling.

-- Other low voltage work may include but not limited to Access Control, Alarm System Service.
Include experience or certification with:-- LANs WANs WLANs-- IP Camera deployments

All positions with in the company are required 90-day probation period.
