Job Description

What’s the opportunity ?

This is a high performance marketing role responsible for scaling demand generation
by developing initiatives that will drive brand reach, recognition, and qualified pipeline
across our North American B2B education audiences as well as our B2B2C
school>parent audiences.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

Working with your marketing team, you will:

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy and plan to engage and attract target audiences; utilising the full comms mix including content, email, automation, webinars, events, SEM, SEO, organic and paid social, and more.
  • Optimize, scale, activate, and implement a demand generation strategy to create a robust sales lead pipeline.
  • Combine analytical thinking with storytelling to identify and engage the right persona at the appropriate stage of the buying cycle, rather than simply flooding the top of the funnel.
  • Develop memorable and impactful creative communication assets for use across the marketing comms mix and in sales enablement, including video/audio, text, and graphics 
  • Organise and host webinars.
  • Partnering with our internal creative design team, ensure Sales have the correct articulation and materials to support communication and conversion in the face to face sales environment.
  • Investigate and test new demand generation tactics, technology, and processes to drive greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance and provide weekly reports on performance.
  • Own monthly KPIs for pipeline creation and conversion for new school district acquisition and Xsell as well as for school-to-parent app uptake.
  • Partner with inhouse digital wellness/cyber safety experts to develop content and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the sales, product and customer support teams to understand our customer’s needs, and use this to inform marketing strategy.
  • Working with your events marketing coordinator, carefully manage a large events program to ensure powerful brand representation and positive ROI. 
  • Oversee budget management, analysis and reporting.
  • Position Linewize as a thought leaders in digital safety and wellness, driving positive brand attributes.

Qualifications

What will you bring:

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have a proven track record as a confident and commercially results driven, senior marketer, ideally in the K-12 / edtech space.
  • Have proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic and highly energetic environment. 
  • Thrive working to demonstrable commercial outcomes. 
  • Be adept at maintaining strong Sales/Marketing alignment. 
  • Have no problem getting dirty in the weeds and be both a strategic and analytical thinker. 
  • Make data-driven decisions with a strong results-oriented bias and with a focus towards action and rapid experimentation.
  • Be a polished and confident presenter, in person and ideally to camera. 
  • Have experience leading a team of marketers maintaining moral while ensuring strong performance.

EXPECTATIONS OF THIS ROLE

  • Quarterly travel to Linewize’s Charlotte office. 
  • Occasional international travel to present to and collaborate with other regional marketing directors if required. 
  • Ability to accommodate different US time zones.
