Experience/Qualifications

- 8-10 years in environmental, health, and safety discipline with a strong focus on safety.
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional.
- Aerospace experience preferred.
- **Safety Culture:**
- Coach site operations leaders to implement safety leadership systems.
- Drive incident prevention strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
- **EHS Management System:**
- Lead review, update, implementation, and compliance of Corporate EHS Management System.
- **Regulatory Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with local EHS legal and regulatory requirements.
- **Technical Expertise:**
- Implement corporate EHS software systems for compliance tracking and reporting.
- **Training:**
- Develop and conduct training to ensure employee safety and compliance.
- **Incident Investigation:**
- Lead investigation of high-potential incidents and facilitate root cause analysis.
- **Medical and Industrial Hygiene:**
- Support medical and industrial hygiene programs in collaboration with HR and Operations.
- **Environmental Program Management:**
- Manage site environmental programs, permits, waste management, and regulatory reports.
- **Loss Prevention:**
- Work with Corporate Risk Manager and external insurance firms to manage loss prevention.
- **Supervision of Consultants/Contractors:**
- Supervise EHS consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Focus on change management, including cultural and system changes.
- Influence managers and employees towards EHS excellence.
- Assist leaders in prioritizing EHS risks based on legal and business needs.
