Job Summary:
Manufacturing Tech
QMP Enterprises, a manufacturer of carbon fiber products and automated equipment, is looking for a mechanically inclined person to help us move prototype products to production. The Job will include everything from piece work, to running equipment, to assembling machinery. The qualities we are looking for in a person are work-style flexibility, willingness to suggest ways to improve processes, ability to read prints and technical documents, and not being afraid to get their hands dirty.
Duties:
- Set up and operate manufacturing machinery according to production guidelines
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Perform quality control checks during the production process
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
