TheBusiness Analyst role at Qlik 

Business Systems Analysts are integral to bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the IT teams. They ensure that technology solutions effectively meet business requirements. Their activities include gathering requirements, conducting analysis, facilitating communication and collaboration, overseeing testing/QA processes, documenting solutions, and providing implementation support tailored to environments. The objective is to introduce a dedicated BSA in alignment with Qlik's Business Critical Partner ecosystem (umbrella to include Partner Portal / Partner Funds / TCMA) 

TheBusiness Analyst Role 

Business Systems Analysts play a crucial role in facilitating the successful implementation of technology solutions that support and enhance business operations. They act as liaisons between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that technology investments are aligned with strategic objectives and deliver tangible business value.  

The Partner Portal is layered in complexity with integrations that touch critical back-end systems. Primary Business stakeholders include Partner Programs, Partner & Sales Operations. Teams tend to request 'change' without full understanding of downstream impact and dependencies and as most things are often presented as 'urgent' there is frustration by stakeholders in perceived delays that come a result of asking questions, doing due diligence, and mitigating risks. With the purchase of new technologies (Impartner, Structured Web) , and in alignment with Spur Reply , we will have documented a new design sitting atop of business processes that are born a result of an exhaustive analysis of current and future state. However, we must make sure to maintain and mitigate risk on a go-forward basis post launch. Having a dedicated BSA aligned to partner systems is therefore paramount to our success. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

• Requirements Gathering - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and usability.
• Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and system integration.

Skills and qualifications for this role include: 

• 3-5 years of experience for this role
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with business process modeling and workflow analysis tools is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 100,000.00 USD MIN – 120,000.00 USD MAX per year. The final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
