QLI is looking for a Resident Companion who will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents at QLI. This position is responsible for providing compassionate companionship, emotional support, and assistance in daily activities to contribute to the residents' overall rehabilitation and recovery process. 

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during their recovery journey. 
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Aid residents with daily tasks such as grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and well-being.
• Safety Monitoring: Maintain a vigilant presence to ensure the safety of residents and respond promptly to any emerging needs or concerns.
• Therapeutic Engagement: Participate in activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents. Play board games, watch a movie, go on a walk around our very own lake, or just get lost in amazing conversations, and more.
• Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

COVID-19 Considerations: COVID vaccination preferred

Flu Considerations: Must commit to receiving annual flu vaccination

Schedule: Full-time (flexible schedules)

• Must be available between the times of 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM 
• Includes one weekend shift
