The Senior General Ledger Accountant understands the overall department goals and how the General Ledger function supports these goals.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist in month end process
- Prepare monthly reporting packages
- Record journal entries
- Prepare/respond to intercompany confirmations
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audit efforts
- Investigate accounting errors and discrepancies
- Collaborate with shared services centers
- Special projects as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 3 - 5 years of accounting experience- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles- Proficient in Microsoft Excel- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail- Good team player, able to communicate effectively with team, takes initiative- Solid understanding of internal controls- SAP Experience is a plus

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work comfortably under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
