QC Supply is looking for a personable, detail-oriented individual as a Counter Sales / Part Associate who will provide excellent customer service to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities

The Counter Sales / Parts Associate will possess strong computer, organizational and written communication skills. Sales and customer service skills along with a high attention to detail are essential both in-person and via phone.

No college degree required, will train the right person.

  • Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs.
  • Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available with which their needs can be addressed
  • Educate new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote QC Supply products
  • Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems
  • Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts
  • Maintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stock
  • Work in the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted for
  • Always keep parts counter, showroom and warehouse neat, clean and organized
  • Demonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge in the agriculture industry, as well as parts and equipment used, and strives to continually upgrade industry, parts and equipment knowledge
  • Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Responds promptly to customer needs
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others
  • Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs
  • Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtime

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to climb stairs; stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally as required.

Additional Notes

This position works in an office environment with some work in a warehouse environment as well.
