QC Geothermal, Inc. is Hiring a Driller Near , IL

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our team. We specialize in drilling for geothermal ground loop installations. We use the latest in drilling technology and equipment to help our drillers meet industry demands.

As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and machinery to install ground loop piping. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and knowledge of drilling techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Rig and set up drilling equipment at job sites
- Dig and prepare holes for drilling operations
- Operate drilling machinery to extract resources
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Build and maintain drilling structures
- Perform regular maintenance on drilling equipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as grout pumps, excavators, and skid loaders
- Monitor drilling operations and make adjustments as necessary

Skills:
- Proficient in rigging and setting up drilling equipment
- Experience in operating heavy machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to build and maintain drilling structures
- Familiarity with vertical drilling techniques
- Competent in operating grout pumps, excavators, and skid loaders
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance
