Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will assist the dentist/hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide instruments and materials to dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Familiarity with CAD software for dental imaging
- Experience with Dental receptionist duties
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems
- Understanding of medical coding principles
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
