The Opportunity

This job will support energy and marine line of business by preparing and reviewing documentation, maintaining client records and files, processing submissions, renewals and endorsements and participating in line of business projects to support unit enhancement.

Primary Responsibilities
* Contribute to the execution of timely and efficient operational underwriting activities within area of responsibility by aligning decisions with established guidelines to evaluate and rate exposure
*Support streamlined underwriting operations by processing, documenting and organizing assigned new business, renewal, endorsed and cancelled policies, preparing and maintaining legal notices and underwriting quotes to support business strategy
*Leverage underwriting data and accurately reflect in the pricing model
*Maintain key reporting and tracking databases by following up on loss sensitive documents, monitoring receipt of collateral and escalating areas of concern as necessary
*Manage underwriting client files by utilizing customer relationship management tools and updating records as required to reflect current state
*Build relationships with internal and external customers by requesting underwriting information, researching and analyzing inquiries and escalating issues as necessary
*Participate in operational projects to review and/or design new required process modules and evaluate market dynamics and opportunities to ensure underwriting compliance and grow the book of business
*Collaborate with key stakeholders by sharing information, recommending solutions to basic underwriting issues and guiding clients as required
*Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun
Required Education
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
* 1 year relevant experience

*Evaluating information to determine compliance with standards - Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards

Compensation

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs

Hourly Salary Range: $22.75 - $34.25
