Job Summary: The IT Administrator at Q LLC is a foundational role within our Information Technology department, responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization's technology infrastructure. This position plays a vital role in supporting end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in the implementation of IT projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other network devices.
  • Monitor and manage system backups and data recovery processes.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and antivirus scans.
  • Assist in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Conduct user training sessions on IT tools and applications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Assist in inventory management of IT assets and equipment.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
