Job Summary:
The Corporate Counsel is responsible for providing day-to-day and strategic advice on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters; structuring, drafting, and negotiating a variety of transactions (e.g., intercompany, customer, and vendor agreements); leading data privacy and security initiatives; supporting product development and marketing; securing and protecting the Company’s intellectual property rights; and other tasks as assigned.
The Corporate Counsel must work collaboratively with other members of the legal team and its internal business partners. The Corporate Counsel will have strong leadership skills, exceptional communications skills and be highly organized. This position also requires the ability to work independently, learn the business, interface with all levels of the organization (including the senior leadership team), and be flexible to adapt to a growing organization. Attention to detail is required. Experience in telecommunications and/or international business transactions would be a plus.
