Job Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot video systems for live events.
• Advise the production team on the best technical solutions for video needs.
• Utilize various video systems, such as cameras, switchers, projectors and LED
• Work with other technicians to ensure sound and lighting systems are properly synchronized.
• Set up and operate multi-camera systems
• Be involved in the pre production of shows
• Ensure all equipment is set up, tested and operating correctly.
• Provide technical support for video systems before, during and after events.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies.
• Load and unload equipment for live events
• Monitor video signals for video playback devices
• Develop video content for events
• Maintain knowledge of current trends and technology related to video systems
Job Requirements
• Must have experience in setting up and operating video equipment
• Knowledge of video equipment and systems including cameras, projectors, editing software and switchers
• Ability to troubleshoot any technical issues with equipment
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and climb ladders
• Proficient in using computers and computer software
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
