Pyramid Healthcare is Hiring an Eating Disorder Clinician Near Exton, PA

High Focus Centers, formerly Onward Behavioral Health, in Exton has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania. High Focus Centers is an invaluable resource to adults and teens suffering from substance use, mental health, and/or eating disorders. We are currently seeking a Eating Disorder Therapist to support our clients in Exton. Scope of Position & Technical Competencies:

  • Conducts group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy, as needed
  • Conduct level-of-care assessments in accordance to program needs.
  • Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups.
  • Maintains client files according to program standards.
  • Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff, according to program timelines.
  • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members.
  • Maintains professional interpersonal communication with clients, referral sources and company representatives.
  • Manages client files by having appropriate documents with in the allowable time frames.
  • Attends meetings regarding client’s progress.
  • Scheduled for 40 hours per week.
  • Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards.
  • Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
  • Maintains ethical boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to support other programming in office as needed and as appropriate.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of addiction, mental health, eating disorder and/or complex conditions

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in the field of mental health counseling or related field
  • Prior experience with Eating Disorders.
