Pyramid Healthcare is Hiring a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Near California, MD

Our Certified Recovery Specialists assist our clients in developing and solidifying long-term recovery supports and providing services before, during and following an individual’s engagement in the treatment continuum. Pyramid Healthcare in California, Maryland offers outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for men and women with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders and problem gambling. We also provide psychiatric services for clients who require medication management! Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, we strive to customize our treatment plans on the needs of each client through groups or individual sessions, collaborating as needed to create comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Schedule: Flexible, 3PM to 11PM

Deliverables
• Provides opportunities for individuals to direct their own recovery plan and supports, build self-worth, wellness, empowerment and self-advocacy.
• Work with the individual’s family, service and treatment providers, other programs and community supports to assist in achievement of goals.
• Conducts regularly scheduled sessions with individuals and motivates them to identify interests, strengths, and goals which promote a lifestyle of recovery
• Attends and participates in treatment team meetings whenever possible while providing feedback regarding the individual’s recovery perspective.
• Introduce and engage individuals in the recovery community including sober social and recreational activities.
• Promoting community integration through the connection of resources, linking to supports, mutual-help groups, social clubs, volunteer and job opportunities.
• Maintains accurate documentation regarding the individual’s progress, goals, challenges, and utilization of skills and support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Licensure, Education, & Experience:
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification in state of Maryland.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history & willingness to travel locally.
