This Position is with our October Road ACTT Team! Position pays between 22$ per hour and 55K a year depending on licensing and experience.
This position directly supports our clients by actively participating in a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide clinical expertise in helping clients make real and lasting changes in their lives. Employee will attend daily staffings and update team members with relevant information regarding clients' needs or issues. Will also be responsible for utilization review, treatment plans/reviews, discharge planning, clinical documentation, staff relationships, referral contacts and a variety of other duties. Will provide interventions to clients who have SMPI and addictions in a community setting. Will provide weekly groups discussing substance use, harm reduction, and coping skills. Traveling to community to see clients and provide needed assistance. Emergency service and on call duty rotation that may include commitment procedures, after hour assessments, crisis planning, and hospital diversion.
Required Education/Certifications/Experience:
CADC LCAS/LCAS-A, or ability to achieve this certification or licensure within 90 days of employment.
CADC must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field with 2 years post-graduate experience working with adults who have severe persistent mental illness. Must possess valid driver license. (Qualified Professional Status According to 10A NCAC 27G.0104)
Preferred Education/Experience:
Graduate Degree in Human Service or related field from an accredited college or university is required. Prefer 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
