BASIC FUNCTION:
The Spa Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spa lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms, and internal spa offices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensure cleanliness of the entire spa lobby area, including dusting, vacuuming, and arranging furniture.
2. Polish all fixtures and stairway handrails within the spa.
3. Maintain the cleanliness of flooring of spa.
4. Dust all pictures and furniture within the spa.
5. Check and clean all public restrooms in spa, frequently throughout the day/evening, and restock paper supplies as needed.
6. Check, clean, and restock employee restrooms twice daily.
7. Remove trash and vacuum carpets in internal spa offices.
8. Maintain a neat appearance of the work cart used for cleaning.
9. Report all maintenance needs and special cleaning requirements promptly in HotSos.
10. Return all lost and found articles to the Spa Housekeeping Office.
11. Adhere to safety standards at all times and promptly clean up spills.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform other related duties as requested by the Spa Office Coordinator, Spa Manager, or Executive Housekeeper.
2. Remain attentive, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers at all times.

ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor work with a combination of hard and carpeted floor surfaces. Good ventilation and artificial lighting are provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat appearance and pleasant personality. Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time. Ability to communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.
