Title: Member Risk Adjustment Coordinator ILocation: Remote – EST only
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM EST (Mon - Fri)
 
Job Description:
Schedule appointments gather medical histories and updated member and provider information in support of member outreach and claims reimbursement.
Job Responsibilities:
Engage with providers via outbound calls, inbound calls, emails, and fax. Weekly metrics based on daily production hours – 150 calls per week, 50 resolved sites per week. Multi-tasking through different software, tools, and vendor portals. Monitored production environment.• Assist members with scheduling office visits with primary care providers.
• Retrieves charts from electronic medical record systems and compile medical records to send to other parties for coding.
• Requests medical records by making outbound phone calls to provider groups.
• Completes supplemental medical records requests using Excel files.
• Assist with providing updated member and provider information to vendors.
• Direct medical record requests to the responsible party.
• Resolves outstanding vendor pends within a timely manner by updating member and provider demographics and working with chart load issues.
• Ensure follow-up on member appointments or other tasks designated.
• Assist with ad hoc requests.
 
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Phone and Email etiquette, Attendance and Punctuality, Quality assurance, Critical and Strategic thinking, and PHI handling and medical records is required.
- Experience with the Healthcare industry experience, Productivity tracking in production-based environment, Accountability tracking, and Productivity tracking in a production-based environment is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required.
- Ability to adapt to work in a changing environment.- High school diploma or equivalent.- 0-2 years of customer service or medical office experience.#prof
