IT Infrastructure Manager

San Diego, CA or St. Petersburg, FL- Hybrid/Remote

PVM, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to spearhead projects and solutions within our business initiatives, accelerating processes, implementing analytics, and leading security and networking remediation efforts. Your role will involve migrating legacy systems, overseeing critical IT tasks, and maintaining a dependable infrastructure. Collaborating with internal and external partners, you'll communicate project status and achievements while tracking hardware and software inventory and documenting processes. You'll ensure seamless server administration, manage infrastructure components, conduct system audits, and provide support for remote locations and employees. Responsibilities:

  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful
  • Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and
  • Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern cloud-based
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and
  • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and
  • Track and maintain hardware and software
  • Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and
  • Perform cloud infrastructure and application administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together
  • Maintain infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates,
  • support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all
  • Support and administer remote locations and

Requirements:

  • 7 years of IT management experience 
  • Previous experience working with federal government systems is a
  • Previous experience with implementing controls associated NIST SP 800-171 & 800-172 security compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience with cybersecurity including the U.S. DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
  • Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations including ITIL
  • In-depth understanding of MS-365, MS Azure, integration of external cloud business applications
  • In-depth understanding of AWS administration
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based IT applications and digital security
  • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
  • This position may potentially require a government clearance up to TS/SCI for future efforts. 

Education:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience

Tools:

  • IaaS/PaaS platforms (MS-365, Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Hubspot, BambooHR, etc...)
  • Experience with operating systems with a strong preference for
  • Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Linux, etc...
  • Help Desk systems (Jira experience preferred)
  • Compliance with NIST SP-800 and CMMC
  • Experience with Federal Government systems is a
